Bundoora Beats has been rescheduled to January 31, bringing together local and international musicians for a night of summer sounds.
JAZZPARTY is a Melbourne-based band performing in the concert, band member Loretta Miller said she is excited to entertain locals.
“It’s always a joy to perform for a new audience and experience the challenge of winning over a new crowd.”
Miller said the band creates music based on their mutual love of different genres including old-school soul, jazz, calypso, R&B and rock ‘n’ roll.
“JAZZPARTY is a band of old mates and ratbags who mostly grew up together and create original music.”
Miller said the audience can expect big energy, cheeky delivery, passion, power and fun.
“We encourage people to let go of their inhibitions and dance and shout as much as they want.”
“We do see ourselves as a late night party band but we love the freedom and energy that kids bring to the crowd.”
JAZZPARTY has never played in the Whittlesea municipality before, but Miller said many band members come from the north of Melbourne.
“It’s where we play and create and rehearse in a magical oasis that will remain a secret.”
JAZZPARTY will perform alongside other acts from 6pm to 10pm at Norris Bank Reserve, Bundoora.
The event is free, and no bookings are required, you can bring your own picnic or enjoy a wide range of food stalls and trucks onsite.
