Members of The Combined Probus Club of Whittlesea will meet on Monday 2 February at the Whittlesea Bowls Club at 9.30 am. The presenter will discuss regenerative farming and environmental aspects. Visitors are welcome. Probus is open to all retired and semi-retired members of the community.

Gladstone Park Probus Club

Young parents group
DPV Health’s Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies program in partnership with Whittlesea council, Brave Foundation and Westfield Plenty Valley is a group for young parents every Thursday, from 10.30am-noon during school term. The group is a supportive space that allows young parents to form friendships and develop their parenting skills. It also allows for their young children to play and socialise with other children. Cloth Nappy Workshops
A local mum is running free cloth nappy workshops at the Mickleham North Community Centre. The first workshop is on February 12 at 10am. You can find out more on the Nappy Wise Facebook group.

TAC L2P Program
The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) L2P Program is a community-based program developed to assist eligible young Victorian learner drivers between the ages of 16 and 21 who do not have access to a supervising driver, or an appropriate vehicle to gain driving experience required for a probationary licence. Volunteer mentors needed.

The Broadmeadows Senior Citizens Club
The club meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and first Sunday of the month. It also has indoor carpet bowls, bingo, and snooker. Enjoy a dance between 7-11pm on the third saturday of every month. All are welcome.

Join the Homestead Team, along with members of the community for a free lunch and make some new friends whilst you’re at it. Lunch will be prepared by the Turkish Women’s Association.
