Council services Australia Day hours

Some Hume council services will be impacted or closed during the upcoming Australia Day public holiday on Monday 26 January.

Customer service centres will be closed. Residents can still report issues online and contact the after-hours service on 9205 2200 if there is an emergency.

Leisure centres will be open with reduced hours from 8am to 5pm. Visit each leisure centre website for more information.

Waste collection will continue as normal, but resource recovery centres (tips) will be open from 8am to 4pm.

All Hume libraries will be closed, but residents can still make returns via the after-hours return chutes.

Hume global learning centres, community centres and youth centres will be closed.

Early years services including maternal and child health, kindergarten and long day care will be closed.
