Whittlesea Fire Brigade has issued a warning that there is a large smoke haze coming from the bushfire at Longwood.
The CFA encouraged residents to establish if they see a fire, not just smoke haze before calling triple-0.
If you see a column of smoke or unable to confirm, don’t hesitate to call triple-0.
Towns about 60km north of Whittlesea have been issued an emergency bushfire warning to leave immediately.
