Attempted carjacking in Coolaroo

Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in Coolaroo on Sunday 2 November.

Police said two men approach a woman as she was seated in her car in a business carpark off Pascoe Vale Road about 1.20pm.

One of the men got into the front passenger seat of the car and threatened the woman with a knife.

The woman received a stab wound to her thigh after a scuffle occurred between the two.

The offenders ran to a nearby car which then drove off along Pascoe Vale Road.

The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
