Four arrested following stolen car

Four men have been arrested after a police pursuit moved through Thomastown and Lalor in the early hours of Wednesday 22 October.

Police spotted an allegedly stolen silver BMW driving erratically on High Street in Reservoir just after 1am.

The car was followed through Reservoir and Thomastown before coming to a stop on Edmondson Street in Lalor.

Police approached the vehicle before the male driver allegedly drove towards officers and narrowly missed them as he took off at speed.

The BMW was then spotted entering a driveway on Sturdee Street as a white motorbike also pulled up outside the property.

Police units targeting car thieves closed in and arrested the four men nearby, where they were taken into custody to be interviewed.

The BMW was allegedly stolen from Fyffe Street in Thornbury 14 October.
