Pair charged following stolen vehicle arrests

A 29-year-old Tullamarine man and a 24-year-old Sydenham man have been charged following their arrests after a stolen vehicle was spotted allegedly speeding around Shepparton early hours this morning.

The stolen white Holden ute was seen driving on Wyndham Street about 12.45am.

The 29-year-old Tullamarine man was charged with reckless conduct endangering life, dangerous driving while being pursued by police, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of methylamphetamine, possession of cannabis, failure to stop a vehicle on police direction, dealing property suspected proceeds of crime, driving in a dangerous manner, unlicensed driving and use of an unregistered motor vehicle.

He was remanded to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court today.

The 24-year-old Sydenham man was charged with possession of methylamphetamine and was bailed to appear at Seymour Magistrates’ Court on 15 January 2026.

The involved vehicle was allegedly stolen from an Altona address last week.
