Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was stabbed in Lalor in August.
Police were told a man was approached by an unknown male on Kingsway Drive near Edgars Road when an altercation occurred about 3.45pm on Monday, August 25.
The victim was stabbed multiple times in his back as he attempted to run from the scene, police said.
An 18-year-old Lalor man was assisted by a passer-by and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The offender fled the scene and was described as being aged in his teens and perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance with a thin build.
He was wearing a black tracksuit and a hooded jumper with large white letters ‘HOODRICH’, as well as large black headphones and a balaclava.
