More buses for route 390

Commuters on Route 390 are set to benefit from major service improvements starting September 7.

The busy route, which runs between Mernda station and Craigieburn station via Wollert, will have 140 new weekly trips added to its schedule.

The enhancements aim to make travel more convenient and accessible for passengers across the growing northern suburbs.

Key changes include weekday services every 20 minutes from 6 am to 7 pm, later weekday services running until 12am, previously 10.30pm, and Saturday services extended until 12am, previously 10pm.

These upgrades are said to be designed to better connect communities, reduce waiting times, and provide more flexibility for work, study, and leisure travel. Passengers are encouraged to check updated timetables before planning their trips.
