Police were called to a home on McLeans Road about 9.45am, on May 8, where they located the deceased man.

While he is yet to be formally identified, investigators believe the body is that of a 53-year-old Bundoora man, who was recently reported missing.

It is understood all parties are known to each other, police said.

The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear, but it is being treated as suspicious.

The police investigation remains ongoing and no charges have been laid.
