Police investigate Roxburgh Park Road rage

225873_01. Police are appealing for help after an assault in Roxburgh Park last night.

Police are seeking public assistance and dashcam footage after a man was assaulted in Roxburgh Park.

It is believed that a man was travelling north on Sydney Road in a black Volkswagen Golf sedan when a group of motorcyclists drove erratically in front of him about 10.30pm on Thursday, February 6.

The driver and riders had an altercation at the Somerton Road intersection.

Police were told the riders assaulted the 46-year-old Donnybook man, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The riders then caused significant damage to the car, smashing the windows before leaving on their bikes towards Pascoe Vale Road.
