Seeking input on Hume roads

Hume council is requesting community input for traffic improvements in Campbellfield and Roxburgh Park east.

Council is undertaking a study of traffic issues within the Campbellfield area, bounded by Barry Road, Merri Creek, the Metropolitan Ring Road and the Upfield train line.

Another study is being undertaken for the Roxburgh Park east area, bounded by Patullos Lane, Donald Cameron Drive, Roxburgh Park Drive, Somerton Road and Craigieburn train line.

In April 2024, council gained feedback into traffic management in the areas through an online mapping tool.

Over 150 responses from the community were gathered regarding the Campbellfield area.

Community feedback also saw 180 responses for the eastern part of Roxburgh Park.

Council is looking to install traffic treatments as proposed on the LATM for both areas. While the proposals are preliminary, council wants to hear from the community on what is being proposed before making any decision on the treatments.

Consultation for both areas are now open and will close on Sunday, March 2.
