The Northern Football League season will get underway on April 5.
The league revealed its men’s fixtures on Wednesday for its three senior men’s competitions.
All three competitions will commence their seasons on April 5.
Division 1 and division 2 will play out 18 home and away games, with every side to play each opponent twice.
In division 3, there will be also 18 home and away games in season 2025, but clubs will play 16 matches and have two byes each. All teams will play each opponent at least once.
Division 1 will feature 10 sides, with South Morang to return to top flight football for the first time since 1980 after winning this year’s division 2 premiership.
The Lions will unveil their premiership flag in round one against West Preston-Lakeside.
A top five finals campaign will again occur at the conclusion of the regular season, with finals to commence on August 30 and the grand final to be played on Saturday, September 20.
The 10 sides to compete in division 2 will include debutants Old Paradians following their division 3 premiership success in 2024, and Macleod, who will play in division 2 for the first time since 2009 after being relegated.
It will be a top five in division 2 as well with finals starting on August 23 and the grand final on September 13.
There will be 11 teams in division 3, with Laurimar to replace Old Paradians. The Raiders will unveil their premiership flag in round one against Whittlesea.
Finals will begin for the top five sides on August 16 with the grand final set to take place on September 6.
In other key matches, Eltham and Greensborough will feature in a standalone Good Friday clash at Eltham Central Park.
The division 1 grand final rematch between Montmorency and Heidelberg will be played in round five,
Six games will feature on King’s Birthday weekend, including a standalone Heidelberg and Montmorency battle at Warringal Park, as well as all five matches of division 3.
Lower Plenty will host Thomastown for the 2025 Pat Cronin Foundation Round feature game at Montmorency Park, while Fitzroy Stars and Laurimar will compete for the NAIDOC Cup in their July 5 match at Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval.
Senior women’s, under-19.5’s and junior football competition fixtures will be released at a later date.
