Two people including a five-year-old girl escaped a house fire in Greenvale on Tuesday.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to several calls to a house fire in Arkose Street at 3.33am.
The blaze, which has now been deemed as suspicious, is under investigation by police as it was reported that a vehicle was driven into the garage and set alight.
The residents of the home escaped with only minor injuries.
The house has extensive damage.
A neighbouring house was also seen to be under threat, but firefighters used hose lines to protect the other residence.
