Another suspicious fire has lit up Melbourne’s north this morning, a third in as many weeks.

Investigations are ongoing at a restaurant in Campbellfield on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the business on the Hume Freeway just after 4.30am.

A crime scene has been established and an arson chemist will attend the scene later today.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be determined and police are treating it as suspicious.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
