Mickleham man robbed

An arrest has been made after a Mickleham man was robbed in Caulfield last week.

It is alleged a man approached a 38-year-old Mickleham man on Queens Avenue and produced a weapon about 5.05am on Wednesday, April 3.

He allegedly stole a mobile phone and wallet, then fled the scene on foot.

Detectives executed a search warrant at an address on Princes Highway in Malvern East where a man was arrested.

The wallet and personal cards were recovered.

The 28-year-old Malvern East man has been charged with armed robbery.

He’ll appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon.
