Craigieburn Road will close from tomorrow, causing some big delays in travel.
Road maintenance on Craigieburn Road between Merri Creek and Hume Freeway in Craigieburn will begin on Thursday 8pm, and go through until 5am, and the same again on Friday.
Maintenance will involve asphalt resurfacing and line marking sections of Craigieburn Road to restore the condition of the road surface.
Expect travel delays up to 20 minutes when detours are in place.
Eastbound lanes and westbound lanes between Merri Creek and Hume Freeway will be closed with signed detours in place.
There will be no on-street parking in the work area during works, and there will be periods of high noise levels, vibrations, and dust.
Traffic controllers will be on site to help road users travel around the work area safely.

Detour via Epping Road, Cooper Street and Hume Freeway-Craigieburn Bypass
Detour in place when westbound lanes are closed on Craigieburn Road.
