A Mill Park worker was injured on the roof of a construction work site on Monday morning.
At about 8.50am, on McKimmies Road, Mill Park, Ambulance Victoria and Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) arrived on the scene to help rescue the worker.
FRV high angle rescue technicians were able to place the patient in a stretcher and attach it to the bucket of a Ladder Platform appliance before lowering the male to the ground.
A total of 18 firefighters arrived on the scene.
The patient was placed in the care of Ambulance Victoria shortly before 10am.
