House fire in Coolaroo

Fire crews attended a house fire in Coolaroo on Saturday night.

Fire Rescue Victoria was called to the first about 8.45pm on Thorpdale Avenue following multiple calls to triple-0.

The fire was bought under control within 20 minutes, with it contained to the dwelling.

Neighbours reported recent squatter activity however the property was found vacant after thorough search of the building. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was deemed suspicious, and the scene was handed over to police.
