Help ensure every child gets a toy this Christmas

In the spirit of spreading Christmas happiness, CVGT Employment is looking for toy donations, including from Hume and Whittlesea, to bring some early Christmas joy to families participating in our ParentsNext program.

The call out is on for the annual CVGT Employment ParentsNext 2023 Toy Drive, which will run from October 16 to December 8.

CVGT Employment is kick-starting the toy drive with a donation of $2000.

People can donate new and unwrapped toys or a locally purchased gift card at CVGT Employment sites across Victoria.

The toys will be delivered to children, aged between nine months and ten years, of ParentsNext families before Christmas.

CVGT Employment chief executive Jason Russel said the Toy Drive is dedicated to supporting ParentsNextfamilies who are facing financial challenges during tough times.

“We believe that every child deserves a magical and memorable Christmas and with the help of the community, together we can help the ParentsNext families have a happy Christmas by

donating a brand-new unwrapped toy or locally purchased gift card.” he said.

“In the spirit of providing further economic and social benefits to the communities in which we operate we ask that you consider purchasing your donation from local stores.”

Due to hygiene requirements, only newly purchased items can be accepted. Please no cash.

People can deliver their donation to any CVGT Employment ParentsNext and Victorian office locations until 5pm on Friday, December 8.

CVGT Employment ParentsNext manager Kathryn Lord said encouraged the community to come together and make a difference.

“Your generosity will brighten someone’s Christmas and create cherished memories for their children. If a business would like to donate, please get in touch and help us make a little magic this Christmas,” she said.
