There is only one round remaining for the Northern Football League’s division 1 season, with plenty still to play for.

Bundoora will play West Preston-Lakeside where it will hope to hold onto their spot in third.

If the Bulls do stay in the third position they will face Montmorency in a qualifying final where the winner will play off in a preliminary final against ladder leaders Heidelberg.

Division 2 finals are set to kick off this week, with South Morang taking on Watsonia in a do or die clash.

The Lions finished the regular season in fourth position following a last round win against Lower Plenty. The Lions won 22.16 (148)-7.8 (50).

Last time the Lions met Watsonia, the Saints took home the win by 30 points in round 15.

Gary Moorcroft booted four majors in the 16.9 (105)-11.10 (76) loss.

The division 3 finals will also get started this weekend.

Mernda finished their home and away campaign with a big win against the Fitzroy Stars, where it won 14.20 (104)-6.15 (51).

Mernda will now play Laurimar for a spot in the grand final.

The Demons finished the season in first, only losing the two games for the whole season.

One of those losses came the last time the Demons faced the Power, back in round 11.

The Power ran away with a 10.14 (74)-6.6 (42) victory. The Demons are undefeated from that point on.
