Hillcrest puts your health first

Tired and run down as the end of the year approaches?

Perhaps a check-up with a doctor is called for.

Hillcrest Health Centre in Broadmeadows is just the place for it.

“Hillcrest Health Centre is a family-orientated practice which has been open for more than 25 years,” business manager Lisa De Petro says.

“We aim to provide all patients with the highest level of care.

“Our friendly and enthusiastic health professionals are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients by offering an affordable service, respecting each patient’s individuality and needs, and having qualified medical and reception staff.”

Lisa says the doctors and staff are multicultural and between them speak several languages, including Greek, Italian, Maltese, Hindi, Punjabi, Polish and Arabic.

The centre has nine GPs, including one female. Specialists and allied health professionals visit regularly, including a cardiologist, podiatrist, general surgeon, chiropractor, physiotherapist, dietician, gynaecologist, psychologist, audiologist and a pap smear provider.

A nurse is always on duty to assist doctors in small procedures, vaccinations, and triage.

Sable Pharmacy is located on-site for patients’ convenience.

“The pharmacy assists patients with their pharmacological needs and is handy for those who need medication urgently or don’t drive,” Lisa says.

She says the business has an extensive recall and follow-up system that assists in notifying patients to return for test results or follow-up appointments.

The accredited private medical practice bulk bills and aims to provide patients the best possible treatments using the most up-to-date and proven methods, materials and equipment.
The centre supports many charities and fundraisers, including Red Nose Day, World’s Greatest Shave and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
