Bundoora Park’s title defence is over, while Bundoora has been knocked out of the Northern Region T20 competition.

Both Bundoora teams were keen for victories on Tuesday night to progress through to the final, but suffered losses.

Bundoora Park lost to Rosanna.

The Thunderbolts made 9-141 from their 20 overs, with Thilina Herath top scoring with 40 after the top order struggled.

Nick Carlton and Andrew Clarke took three wickets each for Rosanna.

Rosanna was able to chase down the runs with one overs and plenty of wickets still in the shed.

Rosanna finished 3-144.

Sam Sheehan top scored with 68 not out at the top of the order.

It was all single wicket takers for the Thunderbolts.

Bundoora’s campaign came to an end against North Eltham Wanderers.

The Wanderers made 7-137 from their overs, with Jake Lambert top scoring with 43.

Rubal Singh-Dhillon finished with 2-27 off his four overs.

The Bulls had a solid start, but soon the wickets started to fall.

The Bulls lost 5-16 to slip to 9-100. They would eventually finish, 9-115.

Clayton McCartney top scored with 34 at the top of the order.

The grand final between the Wanderers and Rosanna will be played on February 14.
