A day of nature fun

Mark your calendars for Whittlesea’s latest community event, the Community Environment Festival.

Held at Lauries Field, Doreen, on Sunday, November 20, the festival will feature interactive activities for adventurous explorers to learn about nature and the local environment.

There will be nature-based fun and games, a live butterfly display and various other science activities.

In addition to the many activities on offer, there will also be a range of stalls for you to wander through and learn more about our environment and the little ways each and every one of us can help protect and restore our planet. Learn about the importance of recycling, being sustainable and how you can improve your carbon footprint.

It’s on from 11am to 3pm and will also include a barbecue run by the Scouts.

Lauries Field is in Brookwood Avenue, Doreen.
