St Monica’s College students will take to the stage at Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre later this week in the musical Chicago – high school edition.

Chicago, originally published in 1975, is a musical comedy based in the roaring twenties era. This version has been especially adapted for school performances.

The annual production is a major event for the college.

More than 60 students are involved in the production, representing all year levels.

Students can be involved in a variety of ways including as cast members, dancers, musicians, choristers and back stage crew.

Students have the opportunity to develop their skills and display their talents, supported by our experienced, talented teaching staff.

After a special performance for local primary school pupils the performances are then available to the general public.

Chicago is at PRACC on June 16, 17 and 18.
