The 24-hour strike began Friday morning and will affect Melbourne’s north-east, east and south, including some school buses and routes and some school services may not operate.
Affected suburbs in Melbourne’s north include Mernda, Craigieburn, Wollert, Epping, Whittlesea, South Morang, Donnybrook, Broadmeadows, Campbellfield, Roxburgh Park, Thomastown and Lalor.
All department of education specialist school buses and night buses will run as normal, as will regional services.
