Upfield and Whittlesea Ranges won through to the next round of the Australia Cup in very different fashion on Wednesday night.
Upfield had a convincing win against FV state league 1 side Sydenham Park.
Upfield scored three first half goals to set up the win, including a double to Dylan Tate.
Neither team would score in the second half, with Upfield taking away the 3-0 win.
Whittlesea Ranges were pushed all the way by Sebastopol Vikings.
The Vikings were a man down after 21 minutes with Shaun Romein receiving a red card.
The Ranges opened the scoring just before half time through Billy Romas. The Vikings would level the score, with the match going down to dying minutes.
A goal in the last minute to Romas would seal the win for the Ranges.
Whittlesea United, Epping City and Hume City will play their round four matches next week.
