Hume City remains without a win after three rounds in the National Premier League.
On Friday night, Hume lost to Dandenong City.
A costly goal they conceded in the first minute of the game had them chasing for the rest of the match as another second goal was scored in the 40th minute to extend the margin.
Hume replied with a goal through Josh Bingham before the full-time whistle.
The round three action was highlighted by St Albans’ stunning 1-0 win over Avondale on Saturday afternoon.
The result meant the Saints had matched their win tally of two from last season.
It was marked a great achievement as their opponents Avondale had only lost two of their previous 26 NPL matches before Saturday.
After finishing in bottom place last season and avoiding a relegation due to the season ending early due to the covid pandemic, the Saints now sit in second place with two wins and a draw.
Meanwhile, Melbourne Knights and Green Gully both lost without scoring a goal.
The Knights traveled to Lakeside Stadium on Friday night to face South Melbourne and lost 2-0.
Green Gully played away from home at JL Murphy Reserve against Port Melbourne and also lost 2-0.
