Helping kids get active

Hume kids can try a range of activities for free over the next week as part of the council’s Active Kids program.

The program starts on Monday, January 31 and is open to children aged between six months and 15 years.

The council said the program is designed to help kids enjoy the benefits of physical activity and build healthy habits into the future

The program is offered over two 10-week terms (in line with the school term).

Children can try Active Dance (a mixture of Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop dance moves rolled into one), Active Singing, Active Mat, Pilates and Meditation, Active Taekwondo, Active Fit Club, Active Move and Groove and Active Water Groovers for free until Friday, February 4.
