Whittlesea library branches closed

Two Whittlesea libraries have been closed as a result of COVID-related staff shortages.

Yarra Plenty regional Library, which runs Whittlesea’s libraries, said the Thomastown and Whittlesea township branches are closed and only offering contactless click and collect services.

Readers can collect books from Thomastown library between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday.

Whittlesea township library’s click and collect service is available Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm.

The Mill Park and Lalor branches remain open, while the Donnybrook pop-up hub will continue to operate Monday-Friday from 9am to 3pm.

YPRL advised further changes to operating hours may occur at short notice.
