Kids vax chat for Whittlesea

Parents and carers wanting more information about vaccinating their children against COVID-19 can get the latest facts and answers to their questions at an information session this week.

Whittlesea council is livestreaming a “Kids vax Q&A with an expert” information session on Thursday, January 20.

The session is in partnership with Northern Health, and will feature paediatrics clinical director Dr David Tran presenting the latest information on the COVID-19 vaccine for children, as well as answering questions from the community.

“Increasing the vaccination rate among younger children will help protect them and our community against the spread of COVID-19, particularly as children prepare to start back at school,” the council said.

“We will be using online platform Menti for you to ask your questions, so please have a device with a web browser available.

“We will explain how you do this in the session.”

The session will be live streamed via the council’s YouTube channel from 7pm.
