Whittlesea services and facility closure information

Whittlesea council have released the details of changes to services and closures of council facilities over the Christmas and New Year period.

Bin collection:

Bin’s collections will be collected as per normal over the Christmas and New Year period.

Residents are reminded to place bins out before 6am on collection day.

Our customer service centre in South Morang will be:

Maternal and Child Health:

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) will offer a reduced service for appointments over the Christmas holiday period from 24 December 2019 to 3 January 2020.

Open sessions and Breastfeeding support sessions will also run a reduced schedule with the following sessions running:

Breastfeeding support sessions:

No sessions on Monday 27 December, Tuesday 28 December, and Monday 3 January.

Boori Maternal MCH Centre, Wednesday 29 December – 2pm – 4pm

Mill Park Drive MCH Centre, Thursday 30 December – 2pm – 4pm

Mernda South MCH Centre, Friday 31 December – 2pm – 4pm

Open Sessions:

No sessions on Monday 27 December, Tuesday 28 December and Monday 3 January.

Galada MCH Centre, Wednesday 29 December – 9am – 11.30am

Laurimar MCH Centre, Wednesday 29 December – 1.30pm – 4pm

Mernda South MCH Centre, Thursday 30 December – 9.30am – 11.30am

Ganbu Gulinj MCH Centre, Friday 31 December – 1.30pm – 4pm

All sessions will return to normal on Tuesday 4 th January.

All branches will be closed at 12pm Friday 24 December
