The vision is supported by three themes that guide what council and the community can do together to achieve its long-term aspirations:
– A community that is resilient, inclusive, and thriving;
– A city that cares about our planet, is appealing and connected; and
– A council that inspires leadership, is accountable, and puts the community first.
Council also adopted its long-term financial plan which provides a 10-year financially sustainable projection regarding how the actions of the council plan may be funded to achieve the community vision.
