Hume to reach 70 per cent fully vaccinated

Hume residents are well on their way to reaching 70 per cent double vaccination this week.

As of October 24, double doses had reached 69.6 per cent and first dose 93.7 per cent, according to federal health data.

The double dose is up nearly 10 per cent from last week, where just 58.2 per cent of residents had received two doses and first dose numbers are up 3.2 per cent.

Whittlesea’s double dose rate is at 68.9 per cent, up from 58.6 per cent last week, while first dose number rose 2.9 per cen

A pop-up, walk-in only vaccination site at Kalkallo Community Hub will run today until Wednesday. The hub offers AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines and will close at 9pm tonight.
