Have you ever thought about having your own chickens? Then this Whittlesea council-run workshop is for you.
The workshop will share insights into keeping chickens, such as the benefits of owning chickens, as well as advice on housing, feeding and choosing the right hens for the suburbs.
Chickens can be a great addition to your backyard, providing you with tasty, fresh eggs and a great natural fertiliser for your garden, council said.
The workshop will be held online on Wednesday, September 8, from 7-8.3pm.
