All Ilim College campuses closed

All Ilim College’s campuses, including in Broadmeadows and Dallas, are closed from today as a precautionary measure against the COVID-19 virus.

It follows Al-Taqwa College in Truganina closing after a teacher from the school tested positive to the virus.

In a statement, Ilim College said the closure was pending advice from the Department of Health.

“We must reiterate that Ilim College has not had any positive COVID results from this outbreak,” the statement said.

“The closure of our campuses is a precautionary measure for all our students, employees, families, and community.

“In line with advice from the Victorian government, please ensure you are checking the exposure sites and get tested accordingly.”

Ilim College will provide further updates today for parents and students regarding tomorrow’s school day.
