Additional COVID-19 testing sites have been established in Epping, Campbellfield, Dallas and Lalor following “significant demand” at existing sites.
Campbellfield Community Centre, Dallas Shopping Centre carpark, Epping Memorial Hall, and Mosaic Pavilion in Lalor have been established as testing sites.
The announcement follows a growing cluster of the virus in the City of Whittlesea which has expanded to 15.
Wait times at existing sites are currently high, including a 180 minute wait at Northern Health in Epping.
All four additional sites are currently experiencing long wait times.
