Three arrested in connection to Lalor murder

Three men have been arrested in relation to the fatal shooting of Adrian Pacione in Lalor earlier this year.

Homicide Squad detectives, with the assistance of the Special Operations Group, this morning executed warrants on three residential properties in Greenvale, Meadow Heights and Roxburgh Park.

A 21-year-old Greenvale man, a 21-year-old Meadow Heights man and an 18-year-old Roxburgh Park man will be interviewed by police.

The arrests follow the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Adrian Pacione at a property on Ella Court, Lalor on July 18.

It’s alleged a group of men attended the property and subsequently discharged a firearm, striking Mr Pacione in the head.

Mr Pacione died in hospital two days later from his injuries.

Three other men who were inside the property at the time of the incident were uninjured.
