Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a service station in Campbellfield earlier this month.
Detectives from Fawkner Embona Taskforce have been told two males arrived in a car at the Somerton Park Drive business about 10pm on September 8.
It’s alleged the first man rushed in and pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the employees and demanded money from the till.
The second man allegedly placed water bottles in front of the doors to keep them from closing and approached the till with a pole in his hand.
One of the offenders hit an employee with the firearm, and while attempting to push his bag under the grill, and knocked the money trays onto the ground.
On the way out, one of the offenders allegedly pointed the firearm at two on-duty paramedics in their vehicle outside before driving away in their own car.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The first offender is described as aged in his late teens to early 20s and was wearing black clothing, red shoes, gloves and a face covering.
The second offender was wearing a grey hooded top, black track pants, grey sneakers, apaisley face mask, Nike bag and was holding what looked like a firearm.
