Mernda service delayed

Train services are delayed on the Mernda line after a track fault near Keon Park earlier this morning caused the cancellation of some services.

Trains are currently running 20 minutes behind schedule, according to the Public Transport Victoria website.

Buses were scheduled to replace trains between Epping and Bell stations when the fault was discovered about 6am.

It was quickly fixed and train services resumed at 6.45am.
