Greenvale and Epping will get new service stations as BP and David Jones expand their growing convenience store partnership.

The two companies announced recently that they would open 21 new stores across Victoria and New South Wales, with the stores expected to be completed later this year.

The companies plan to build a store at 35c Cotters Road, Epping and 910 Mickleham Road, Greenvale.

The existing Merrifield BP store, which is located on Donnybrook Road, will be refurbished and become a BP and David Jones Food store.

The stores will include the usual fuel, food and coffee options found in a BP service station, while adding David Jones Food options to cater for those on the go and those looking for something quick to eat for later on.

Much of the David Jones Food range will be available to order on UberEats.

BP Australia vice-president of sales and marketing, Brooke Mille,r said the company was striving to cater for changing customer needs by making it easier for busy people.

“Our strategy to lead the transformation of convenience retailing in Australia is resonating with our customers who lead busy lives and want easy access to healthy and delicious food, alongside BP’s other high-quality products and fuel offers,” she said.

“We are committed to delivering the best possible experience for our customers in welcoming, convenient locations as we continue to expand this great offer.”

David Jones Food managing director Pieter de Wet said feedback from customers from trial stores had been very positive.
