Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision between a motorcycle and truck in Broadmeadows on Sunday night.
A motorcyclist was seen by police driving erratically about 8pm on Camp Road.
Police attempted to intercept the ride but the motorcyclist sped off. Police did not pursue the vehicle.
It’s believed that the rider drove through a red light at the intersection of Camp Road and Northcorp Boulevard and collided with a truck shortly after.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were on the scene throughout Sunday night and are appealing for witnesses.
