An Epping man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in Mill Park on Tuesday night.
The woman’s body was found by police during a welfare check at a house on Hawkes Drive just before 9.30pm.
The 45-year-old man was interviewed and charged by Homicide Squad detectives on Wednesday evening.
He has been remanded in custody and will face Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
