When each year draws to a close, Whittlesea Community Connections staff call on the community to donate non-perishable food, toiletries and new toys for their Christmas emergency relief drive.
The organisation’s emergency relief service helps thousands of vulnerable families struggling under the weight of outstanding debts, medical expenses or education costs.
Emergency relief co-ordinator Peta Fualau said Christmas-New Year was a particularly busy time for the service, so increased community support was really helpful.
You can drop off goods at the relief office, at Shop 111, Epping Plaza, 583 High Street, Epping.
