UPDATE: A Bundoora man has been charged with stabbing his father to death.
Roger Kozarov, 38, was charged with the murder of his father Jovan Kozarov, 62, in his Janet Crescent home in Bundoora on Friday morning.
Police said Jovan Kozarov’s wife was home at the time and called Triple 0.
His son faced the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday morning after he was charged on Friday night.
He made no application for bail and his case was adjourned for a filing hearing on February 11.
