Craigieburn woman charged with ramming police car in Deer Park

A Craigieburn woman has been arrested following the alleged ramming of a police vehicle in Deer Park.

Police tried to intercept an allegedly stolen car outside a property on Odell Close, Deer Park about 10.30pm on Monday.

Upon seeing police, the female driver allegedly reversed into another parked car before ramming the police car.

Police used capsicum spray to arrest the woman.

There were no injuries to police officers.

The woman, 23, has been charged with reckless exposure of emergency worker to risk by driving and other offences.

She is expected to face Melbourne magistrates court today.
