Taylah Logie top scored for the Eagles with 34 not out, while Kirsty Klempel made 24.
The Eagles did the damage with the ball early on, to have the Roosters in trouble a 4-18 and then 6-36.
The Roosters put together a strong seventh wicket partnership to get back into the game, but once Yogi Navaratnam was run out for 35 the Eagles regained control.
The last two wickets fell quickly, with the Roosters bowled out for 98.
Rebecca Lines took three wickets for the Eagles.
The Eagles will face Hoppers Crossing in the grand final.
The Cats knocked off the previously unbeaten Geelong in the other semi final.
The only time the Eagles and Cats faced each other, the Eagles had a convincing win back in November.
