Sustainable Wyndham party

Join members of Transition Wyndham for a gathering at Presidents Park, Wyndham Vale, from 6pm on Thursday, December 21, to celebrate the achievements of local sustainability groups. BYO food to share, eating utensils and anything else to make this a great night out with zero or minimal waste.

Night market

The 2017-18 Night Market is returning to the Queen Victoria Market and will run every Wednesday until April 11. Enjoy street food stalls and festival bars; and more than 130 artisan fashion, homewares and general merchandise traders.

Theatre at the Mansion

Essence Productions presents What Was That, an evening theatre show combining comedy, history and scary elements. Performed in magnificent Werribee Park mansion, it will debut on Saturday, January 6, from 8pm and will be performed on January 12, 19, 20 and 26. Tickets cost $40 or $35 for Wyndham residents and seniors. This is a roaming play, with the story unfolding from room to room.

Super Sundays at All Green Nursery

Join local Craig Castree, author of Edible Gardens: A Practical Guide, as he shows you how to grow an edible garden using the principles of companion planting. There will be plenty of tips on growing herbs, fruit and vegetables, as well as recipes. Summer of STEAM

Celebrate all things STEAM (science, technology, engineering and applied mathematics) this summer with two weeks full of activities. Learn about coding, robotics, electronics and more at free one-hour sessions at the Julia Gillard Library Tarneit, 150 Sunset View Boulevard, Tarneit. The first will be held on Monday, January 8, from 1-2pm. For ages eight-13. Bookings, required for each individual session, will open seven days in advance.
