Find out about the Springthorpe La Trobe History project from historian Sarah Rood at Mill Park library, 394 Plenty Road, on Monday, October 16, 1-3pm. The collaborative project will create a comprehensive online historical record of Bundoora, Gresswell Hill, Janefield, Strathallan, Macleod and Mont Park. Bring along your own stories and photos to share.

Thomastown Trek

Explore Thomastown by foot on Tuesday, October 10, as part of Yarra Plenty Regional Library’s Thomastown Trek. Starting at Thomastown library at 10am, the tour makes its way along Edgars Creek to the historic precinct of Westgarthtown and back. Booking essential.

Thomastown market

The Thomastown Neighbourhood House monthly market is on Saturday, October 7, 10am-1pm at 52 Main Street. There will be a variety of market stalls, free children’s craft activities and entertainment, slime making and a coffee cart.

Mooncake festival
